For your peace of mind, we would like to remind you that the safety of our clients, therapists, and employees is our top priority.

As part of our COVID-19 protocols, we have been diligently and consistently ensuring that we maintain the rigorous standard operating procedures designed to provide an environment where it is safe for our therapists to treat, and safe for our clients to be treated.

To give you an idea of our enhanced procedures:

  • We hired a professional service to apply MicroShield 360 in the clinic. MicroShield 360 is a multi-step application process that works to immediately kill then prevent future pathogens from living on treated surfaces. Safe, and non-toxic!
  • Sneeze guards have been installed at the front desk
  • We have implemented rotational sanitation procedures for all common surfaces, multiple times throughout the day
  • Treatment rooms are fully sanitized, and all linens/blankets, etc are replaced, after each treatment

In addition to the above measures, we have also adapted our day-to-day to keep all of us safe:

  • We pre-screen clients and staff, upon entry to the clinic to make sure they do not feel unwell/have no symptoms of COVID.
  • Our therapists and team members have been outfitted with the required Personal Protective Equipment (‘PPE’)
  • We are practicing physical distance in the common areas of the clinic (reception/staff room/hallways)
  • We have modified our scheduling to minimize traffic inside our clinics
  • We have stopped accepting cash; please be prepared to pay for your treatment and tip (should you desire to tip) using a credit or debit card

Your peace of mind is of the utmost importance to us. As such, please feel free to reach out to your local clinic if you want to know more about how we are keeping you and our team members safe. A member of the clinic team can personally answer any questions that you may have.

And, as always, it’s easy to book; just click on the button below to secure your treatment time/day!

As per government guidance, if physical distancing can’t be exercised then masks need to be worn. Given the close proximity required during a treatment, clients will need to wear a mask, while our therapists will wear PPE.

When you book an appointment, you will receive an email that outlines the new procedures. They will include; arriving 5 minutes prior to your scheduled time, bringing a filled water bottle, leaving your belongings at home (or in the car), and bringing a community mask. In addition, we are moving to cashless so you’ll need to bring a credit-debit card for payments or tips, should you desire to tip!

For the time being, we no longer accept cash as a form of payment or for tips in order to limit the spread of COVID-19.

All our new policies and procedures meet or exceed the standards described by local and national regulatory bodies. We have implemented rotational sanitation procedures for all common surfaces, multiple times throughout the day. Treatment rooms are fully sanitized, and all linens/blankets, etc are replaced, after each treatment. Your health and safety are our top priority.

All our new policies and procedures meet or exceed the standards described by local and national regulatory bodies. Our staff temperature is checked every day before and during each shift. Use of PPE is embedded in our new policies and our sanitation procedures are ongoing throughout the day. Your safety and the safety of our team is top priority.

In order to maintain safe clinic atmospheres from coast to coast, we’re advising anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms to reschedule their treatments. This helps to protect therapists and staff members as well as other clients from being exposed to COVID-19 and any other virus.

Health Canada has advised that anyone exhibiting symptoms remain at home and avoid coming into contact with others. With this in mind, and for the safety of everyone at Massage Addict clinics across the country, our licensed service providers may decline service. Your appointment will be rescheduled, with clinics waiving the 24-hour notice period.

We are dedicated to the care of our clients and our team members. We will continue to monitor the pandemic and adjust our precautions as necessary.
